ESCALON — November 2, 2026. Escalon’s capital improvement website identifies active investment in local sidewalks, drinking-water supply and wastewater treatment.
What the city lists
The infrastructure page describes the SSJID surface-water project and a wastewater treatment plant upgrade as in progress. It also identifies Main Street Park pedestrian and bicycle improvements under active construction.
One project was marked completed
The Dent Sidewalk Project was shown as completed as of October 1, 2026. A completion status on a project overview does not establish that every surrounding street or footpath is being rebuilt.
Public tracking
Residents can contact Public Works at 209-691-7470 for an individual road impact or project update. Construction schedules, lane restrictions and funding sources can change after a general capital plan is published.
